How can I enter classes and students?

To insert classes, subjects and students go to /home then on "Management".
First you need to enter a class, then you can enter subjects and students.

How does sharing a class work?

Through the "Share" function in the "Class management" you can generate a code to communicate to your colleagues to allow them to easily add a class. The function imports all students and related certifications (DSA or BES), subjects are NOT imported. The sharing code expires after one week.
Attention: the import copies the information of a class when the code is sent, if for example your colleague generates a code and then adds a student this will be imported when you send the code to the bot but if he will add a student after you already have imported the class this will not be added, you will have to do it manually.

How can I share a class?

Through "Class management" (/home, "Management", "Classes") you can select the "Share" function which generates a unique code that you can communicate to all your colleagues to allow them to add the class easily.

How can I import a class?

If you have received a sharing code from a colleague, just send it to the bot as a normal message or from "Class management" (/home, "Management", "Classes") select "Import".

How does the examine system work?

After starting the lesson you will be able to access the examine system. The bot stores the students already examined, the students to be examined and the students back one round (only one round).
Two systems are available for choosing the examined person: the first will automatically choose a student, the second allows you to manually choose a student from among those to be examined.

How does the automatic choice take place?

The automatic choice, called "Draw", gives prevalence to any students back to a round. In general, students who are absent or justified can never be examined and the same student cannot be examined more than once a day for each subject.
The choice of the examined among all the "candidates" is carried out through a PHP function.

How does DSA and BES student management work?

Both during the input phase and from "Student management" you can mark students as DSA or BES. Students with this certification will be automatically excluded from the automatic drawing of test and will be shown separately in the manual choice. The management of justifications and the counting of tests remains unchanged.

How does the quiz mode work?

The extraction in quiz mode does not take into account past interrogations and certifications (DSA or BES), all students can be extracted except those absent or justified. The identifier is only used to understand if the message has been updated (the same student can be extracted several times consecutively), it is NOT stored in any way in the database or in the bot’s log

Can I export the test situation of a class?

Through "Subject management" (/home, "Management", "Subjects") you can select the "Export" function which allows you to generate a convenient PDF file with the test situation, the bot automatically highlights the students to be interrogated and those back one round.

In September, will I have to cancel and re-enter all the classes?

The bot is ready for the start of a new school year and provides the possibility to delete the tests without deleting all the data entered, to do it from the bot home (reachable with /home) go to "Menu" and select "Reset tests".

I have changed schools, do I have to delete all my data and register again?

During the deletion phase you can choose whether, in addition to deleting all the data, delete yourself from the user database or remain registered in order to continue using the bot. From the home of the bot (reachable with /home) just go to "Menu", "Delete data" and select the deletion only of the content.

Are there any limitations on the data entered?

The name of a class or subject cannot exceed 20 characters, it cannot contain spaces ( ) or underscores (_).
The name of a student cannot exceed 40 characters (including spaces) and cannot contain underscores (_).
